(Member of Advisory Board ) - Benares has been restored to reflect the way the Harris family lived
in rural Clarkson in 1918. Mazo de la Roche's Jalna novels were probably inspired
by having lived close to the estate while she was writing.

to revisit Mazo de la Roche, a prolific Canadian writer.
